One of my favorite time’s of the year is when Cirque du Soleil visits Atlanta with their latest productions and this year did not disappoint. Volta continues Cirque du Soleil’s tradition of providing captivating shows with mind blowing acrobatics, but this time around it was the message that truly moved me. Volta delivers a beautiful message on believing in yourself, following your dreams, and self-acceptance.
I had the chance to attend the opening night performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Volta in Atlanta, GA. I was mesmerized by the beautiful acrobatics and defying stunt work throughout the show. One of my favorite performances was the lamp routine. The physicality of routine was intense yet graceful with a beautiful performance that made you feel as though you could float on air.
In addition to the phenomenal stunt work, Volta also delivers on some great laughs. We are introduced to Mr. Wow during the show, who had the audience in a roar with his hilarious interlude acts. Mr. Wow delivers as a game show host with an electric personality that can take you from a nobody to somebody with a snap of his fingers.
Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA is a fun time for the family. With exhilarating performances and a heartfelt message, Cirque du Soleil continues to deliver on a fun experience for families and adults of all ages.
Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA will continue its run in Atlanta until January 5, 2020. For those not in Atlanta don’t worry, Volta will continue it’s must see show in Los Angeles from January 18, 2020 – March 8, 2020. For more information and to purchase tickets please click here.
