Warner Bros. has released the poster and official trailer for the upcoming movie The Kitchen. The Kitchen is based on the Vertigo comic book series from DC Entertainment. Be sure to check out the The Kitchen official trailer and poster below!
The Kitchen Movie Synopsis:
The gritty, female-driven mob drama “The Kitchen,” from New Line Cinema and BRON Creative, was written and directed by Andrea Berloff, who was nominated for an Oscar for the original screenplay for “Straight Outta Compton.”
“The Kitchen” stars Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy (“Can You Ever Forgive Me?” “Bridesmaids”), Tiffany Haddish (“Girls Trip”), and Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) as three 1978 Hell’s Kitchen housewives whose mobster husbands are sent to prison by the FBI. Left with little but a sharp ax to grind, the ladies take the Irish mafia’s matters into their own hands—proving unexpectedly adept at everything from running the rackets to taking out the competition…literally.
The film also stars Domhnall Gleeson (“Star Wars: The Last Jedi”), James Badge Dale (“Only the Brave”), Brian d’Arcy James (“Spotlight”), with Margo Martindale (TV’s “The Americans”), Oscar winner Common (“Selma,” “Marshall”), and Bill Camp (“Vice”). The cast also includes Jeremy Bobb (“Marshall”), E.J. Bonilla (TV’s “The Long Road Home”), Wayne Duvall (“Prisoners”), Annabella Sciorra (TV’s “Daredevil”), Myk Watford (HBO’s “True Detective”).
Berloff’s screenplay was based on the comic book series created for DC Vertigo by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle. The film was produced by multiple Oscar nominee Michael De Luca (“Captain Phillips,” “Moneyball,” “The Social Network”) and Marcus Viscidi (“Rampage”). Serving as executive producers were Richard Brener, Michael Disco, Dave Neustadter, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Cloth, Elishia Holmes, and Adam Schlagman.

Mr. Lee Speaks: This movie looks very good. Well cast and looks well written. I looking forward to the story line in this movie ladies and gentlemen. Good day. By: Mr. Lee
Looking forward to these meaty roles by some amazing actresses!
I’m here for it.
This should be interesting. I hope it is better than Widows.
This looks great!
I love all these ladies. I can’t wait for this movie.
This looks like Oscar fodder. I have mixed emotions about it. I’m definitely going to wait for your review to see if I should add it to my list!
Looks good cant wait to see it!!
This will be a hilarious recipe for disaster.
I’m really looking forward to this!
Interesting combination of females in this movie I would love to see this one ☝
I am sooooo ready for this!!! I appreciate the versatility of these comedic actors
Giving me a bit of the “Widows” vibe with this one. I just hope it’s good and will be able to stand on its own at the box office. For some reason I feel like these women ensemble films aren’t getting the love that they need whether they’re good or bad. Widows and Oceans 8 would be two decent attempts.
The trailer caught my attention… hopefully the movie will be as good
Looking forward to seeing Tiffany Haddish outside of her “usual” role!!!
This movie looks interesting..looking forward to seeing this one!
So Tiffany is going to be in a serious role…hmmm we shall see. The trailer does look interesting. I’m always here for Melissa.
So this is what they were shooting in Atlanta?! I’m intrigued!
This is reminiscent of THE WIDOWS…
Hmmmmmmm…….
I absolutely love Tiffany Haddish & Melissa McCarthy! Can’t believe they are not cracking jokes on this trailer. Looks like a great action packed, women empowerment movie. Definitely want to see this one!
This will be a hilarious recipe for disaster.
I’m excited to see these group of women team up and knock this city down!
I love Haddish and McCarthy but I’m used to seeing them in different rolls so I’m interested to see what they bring to the table with this one. I’ve only seen Moss in Handmaiden but I feel like the three of them will have a good dynamic judging by the trailer. I’m loving all the female centered movies coming out!
I’m looking forward to this movie.
