Looking to explore different parts of Atlanta? Check out the Taste of Town Brookhaven on this Saturday, May 14th from 3-7pm!! They will have culinary delights from local restaurants, beer, wine, music, prizes, cooking demonstrations & more. SkinnyPop will also be onsite with samples of delicious popcorn. The event benefits Angels Among Us Pet Rescue (www.angelsrescue.org). All activities will be held on the green space. Food That Rocks – A Celebration of Sandy Springs
Live in the Sandy Springs area? For one night only on Saturday May 14th, more than 20 of the best local restaurants will be rocking the big tent in the heart of Sandy Springs. This all-inclusive event will provide food, wine, beer and cocktail tastes, local musicians and benefit Sandy Springs-based charities Second Helpings, Ian’s Friends Foundation and the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The inaugural Food That Rocks, a Celebration of Sandy Springs, is set for Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 7pm – 11pm. Rome River Jam 2016
Can’t make it to Atlanta? Try the Rome River Jam at Ridge Ferry Park for a TWO day festival! Join them this Friday May 13th starting at 4pm as the fun begins. Friday night will feature legendary Sammy Kershaw, Jordan Rager (current hit with Jason Aldean “Southern Boy” climbing the charts), Riley Green from the hit show “Redneck Island, and local songwriter and favorite Scott Thompson. Saturday night – Headlining is COREY SMITH, with rising stars Luke Combs, Jacob Davis, Channing Wilson, and Bennie Gray and the Trailer Park Cowboys. Tailgate parking opens at 1pm and concert gates open at 4pm. Tailgate passes are $25 per day or $35 for the weekend. Tickets are $25 per day or $40 for the weekend.
