I am going to let you in on a little secret of mine. I absolutely love BBQ! When I heard that there was a BBQ Festival this weekend I knew that I had to be there. Join me this Friday, August 12th and Saturday, August 13th at Perimeter Mall to experience the 8th annual Atlanta BBQ Festival. This festival showcases the South’s best BBQ cooking, great food and beverages plus live music and an interactive children’s area. Atlanta’s top BBQ restaurants will serve up their specialties while more than 30 professional competitive BAR-B-Q teams from across the region will compete in our Cook Off event for cash prizes, trophies and of course bragging rights.
But what is a BBQ festival without a Bourbon Experience to go with it! The Bourbon Experience ticket includes entry into the festival, a commemorative sample glass, plus 10 sampling tokens that can be used to select your bourbon samples. Each bourbon sample is priced at 1-4 tokens and additional tokens may be purchased at the event for $1 each.
So now that the details are out of the way, let’s get down to the most important question…How much are tickets? General Admission to the festival is $8 in advance and $12 day of show. Ticket price is for admission only and does not include food or food samples. So bring extra money. Kids under 12 receive free admission when accompanied by a paid adult. The Bourbon Experience ticket price is $35 in advance and $40 day of show. I don’t know about you but that is an amazing deal!
