Atlanta Summer Beer Fest
Are you a beer connoisseur ? One of the best beer festivals of the summer, the Atlanta Summer Beer Fest is this Saturday, June 18th 20th from 4-9PM!! There will be over 200 beers, featuring the local Atlanta Breweries, and great breweries from all over the country. If you would live to bust move with your beer there will also be live music on the main stage. Tickets are $40 advance, $45 after June 9, and $55 day of event. Tickets are now on sale. Your ticket price includes a souvenir cup, entertainment, and all of your beer samples. This event has sold out 4 years in a row, so get your tickets now. There will not be any Designated Driver Tickets. Food will cost extra. This is a 21 and up event, no exceptions, no kids, no babies, no pets. Rain or Shine, no refunds. Beer will cut off at 8:45pm. There will be FREE bottled water available. There is no parking at the venue, and only limited street parking available, so we encourage other forms of getting to the event, like Uber, a cab, or walking. Great City Race Beltline Edition
Are you a fan of the Amazing Race? Then check out the Great City Race this Saturday June 18th at 10am! The Great City Race is a turbo charged urban adventure, scavenger hunt race. It’s a localized version of the show “Amazing Race”, personalized for your city that combines the mental and physical aspects of clue solving. Enjoy the active excitement of a foot race, while having lots fun with your friends or family. In one fun-filled day you and your teammate will experience a thrilling mind and body challenge, perfect for the social adventure seekers. When the race begins, teams of two (dressed in costumes or similar outfits) will compete against each other to solve 11 out of the 12 clues. Decatur Beach Party
Are you missing out on the beach this weekend? Decatur has decided to bring the beach to you with the Decatur Beach Party! It will be this Friday June 17th from 5-11PM. Decatur makes its own with 60 tons of sand – transforming Ponce de Leon Avenue into Sandcastle Central. Add a kid’s boardwalk, live music and dancing on the plaza, a food court with funnel cakes and fruity drinks, and voilà — you’re in a beach town, Decatur-style, without the sunburn and hours of driving. Tune into fantastic live jams – Tray Dahl & The Jugtime Ragband open for evening’s headliner, Electric Avenue.
The Decatur Business Association produces the Decatur Beach Party as an annual fundraiser. Proceeds from this event help to fund other free community events including Concerts on the Square, Blue Sky Concerts, Easter Egg Hunt, and the Bonfire & Marshmallow Roast.
