I had the pleasure of attending the Memphis, TN premiere of the Apple TV+ original film The Banker starring Anthony Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson, Nicholas Hoult, and Nia Long. The film is inspired by the true events of Bernard Garrett (Anthony Mackie), and Joe Morris (Samuel L. Jackson), who were two African-American businessmen, that created a risky plan to help deliver the American dream to African-Americans. Make sure you watch my The Banker movie review which is now showing in select theaters and will hit the Apple TV+ platform on March 20th.
